This October I participated in Prelude Festival 2020, playing Salamancer in Zachariah Ezer's Speedrun: "In a fantasy kingdom, a princess and her captor’s magical lackey dream of social change, the overthrow of the local crime boss, and rescue from an overall-clad hero. Speedrun explores the idea that social movements are built on Black bodies who are then excluded when those movements reach the mainstream."
ABOVE THE NOISE
This past December at Dixon Place, I shared the words of Sanam in Above the Noise, a contemporary oratorio composed by Daphne Gampel. This work is a three-part, twenty movement work that features nine vocalists, each representing a narrative voice based on compiled interviews of students on a college campus.

In addition to the mainstage, RCS produces two platform pieces for the Fringe in partnership with the American Music Theatre Project. I performed in the new musical The Twelve by Jon Bauerfeld and Casey Kendall. The cast also included performers from Northwestern University.

AT THE CONSERVATOIRE
My first performance at RCS was as a featured soloist in the annual holiday concert. My classmates and I performed pop, jazz, and holiday favorites for RCS students and staff, and the greater Glasgow community.

BIG GREEN THEATER: THE MOVIE!
In February, I was cast in The Bushwick Starr's 10th anniversary production of Big Green Theater, a program that brings theatre and environmental education (as well as activism) to elementary school classrooms. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the program had to be cut short and there could no longer be a theatrical production. However, in March I received an email asking if I was still interested in participating... but this time, in a filmed version. It has a been a fulfilling and whirlwind of an experience, full of music, technical difficulties, puppets, and laughter. I am so excited to bring these imaginative, intelligent, and active students' work to life!
In August, I performed as Aaron Schultz and in the ensemble with my fellow RCS classmates in the mainstage musical Legally Blonde as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Guns or Glitter?:
"Are you a boy or a girl?"
"I'm something beyond what this body says to you or me..."
I wrote and directed an original cabaret (featuring a few of my favorite songs and one original) about the glory and confusion of being a nonbinary person in a very binary world - all under the premise of my own gender reveal party. The show was music directed by Jacob Kerzner as a part of RCS' annual Candid Cabarets.

As part of the 2018 Corkscrew Theater Festival in New York City, I played Young Sol in Desarrollo by Juliany Taveras. The play is a coming-of-age story set in the Bronx about three friends and their discovery of how time can change their relationships, identities, and the home they love.
